Kniaziew Optometry is pleased to announce the addition of Dr. Kobinaa Kethees to their team in Chatham-Kent.

Dr. Richard Kniaziew, founder of Kniaziew Optometry, believes Dr. Kethees will be a valuable asset to the practice and the Chatham-Kent community.

A Toronto, Ontario native, Dr. Kethees graduated from Woburn High School’s gifted program before earning her Honours Bachelor of Science from the University of Toronto in 2018. She then went on to receive her Doctor of Optometry degree and professional training from the University of Waterloo School of Optometry and Vision Science.

“We are delighted to welcome Dr. Kethees to our team,” said Jordan Kniaziew, Team Lead at Kniaziew Optometry. “Dr. Kethees brings a broad range of expertise and skill to our practice, and we are grateful that she has chosen to begin her career with us. We look forward to the valuable contributions she will make to the Chatham-Kent community.”

Expressing her enthusiasm about joining the team at Kniaziew Optometry, Dr. Kethees said, “The sciences always interested me growing up, and I wanted to find a way to help my local community. I love the great work-life balance you can have with this career and the one on one care we’re able to provide patients with. I am so thankful for the warm welcome I have received from the Chatham-Kent community.

“My favourite part of the job is getting to know my patients and learning new things from them. I would encourage other young professionals to become involved in the community, support local businesses and take advantage of all the great things the city has to offer.”
