Chatham-Kent has launched a development program in an effort to create impactful leaders in the local community.
Leadership Chatham-Kent is a nine-month leadership development program designed to inspire, cultivate, and empower individuals who are passionate about making a difference in Chatham-Kent.
“Leadership Chatham-Kent is more than just a program; it is an investment in the future of our community,” said CK CAO Michael Duben in a news release. “Graduates of this program will be equipped with the skills, passion, and determination to make a significant impact. We believe in creating leaders who not only understand the value of community but are driven to give back.”
The program features a full day each month for personal growth and development, with participants working to develop a legacy project that gives back to the community.
While this year’s program participants are comprised of members of the CK Community Leaders Cabinet, the municipality plans to extend invitations to leaders throughout the community in the coming years.
