A BC-based company is hoping to take advantage of the uber hole in Chatham-Kent by launching a ride sharing app to fill the void.

“It’s much like Uber, we provide the same kind of travel back and forth,” says spokesman Kris Cote. “You hail a ride-share car through the app, you can track the driver, the driver picks you up and takes you where you’re going.”

All of the payment is done through the app, including tip.

“We’re actually just launching,” Cote explains. “So Chatham-Kent is actually going to be our first location.”

They hope to begin recruiting drivers next week, and you can learn more at the website, godrivr.ca.
