A tragic weekend on the roads of Chatham-Kent.
Emergency crews responded to a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Kenesserie Road and Gosnell Line, just east of Ridgetown, shortly after 3 Sunday afternoon.
Authorities say a 64-year-old Howard Township woman was driving of one vehicles. She, along with her three younger passengers, were taken to the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance with minor injuries.
The second vehicle was driven by an 80-year-old woman from Newbury. She was rushed to Four Counties Hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries.
