Health officials in Lambton County are expanding services at COVID-19 assessment centres to help ease pressure on local hospitals.

The Sarnia-Lambton Ontario Health Team has announced the centres will be renamed to COVID, Cold, and Flu Care Centres, or CCFCC, to support the assessment and treatment of patients with cold and flu symptoms.

Area residents should contact their primary care provider before booking an appointment at a COVID, Cold and Flu Care Clinic. Those with mild respiratory symptoms are advised to monitor their symptoms, rest, and drink plenty of fluids
