Chatham-Kent’s overall COVID numbers are holding steady today.

Public Health has one new confirmed case and one resolved, keeping the total active caseload at 38.

Four outbreaks remain on the books, two un-named workplaces, and the two schools. Officials say there have been no new cases linked to either BDHS or A.A Wright in Wallaceburg.

To date, public health says 116 cases of variants or mutations have been identified in Chatham-Kent.

Across Ontario, 22 more deaths have been linked to COVID-19. The province has also announced another 3469 confirmed cases.

There are 2360 people hospitalized with the virus province-wide, 773 of whom are in the ICU.

There are two COVID-positive patients being treated at the CKHA, one of whom is a Chatham-Kent resident and is included in today’s report from CK Public Health.
