No charges have been laid after an incident at the hospital in Chatham.
Around 6:30 last night, police were called to the Grand Avenue campus of the Health Alliance about a man sitting outside the ER with a gun.
Officers flooded the area, but determined there was no weapon involved.
The suspect, a 48-year-old Wallaceburg man, was taken into the hospital for an assessment, but police say he won’t face any criminal charges.
