Chatham-Kent firefighters had to deal with a barn fire early Sunday morning in Blenheim.
They were called out to the blaze at 10362 Front Line with Station 18-Blenheim, and station 11 Ridgetown responding.
When they arrived the barn had already collapsed to the ground, and was fully involved.
They made sure to protect the near by structures while extinguishing the blaze and were able to use the new tanker pumper to knock down the flames from a safe distance.
There were no injuries, and all of the animals housed in the barn escaped the fire.
Total damage pegged at 50,000 dollars and it has been ruled an accident.
