There are no new cases of COVID-19 in Chatham-Kent on Thursday.
However, one active case has been admitted to the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance and is currently in the intensive care unit (ICU).
That patient is the only COVID-positive patient currently hospitalized in the municipality.
Over the course of the pandemic, the CKHA has seen 18 patients hospitalized with the coronavirus. Nine of those patients have been C-K residents. A total of six patients have been admitted to the ICU, with four of those patients being residents of Chatham-Kent.
Chatham-Kent currently has three active cases, with 369 total cases, 364 recoveries and two deaths.
There have been 28,777 tests conducted in C-K as of October 1st.
Ontario reported 538 new infections on Thursday, down from Wednesday’s 625.
Lambton Public Health is once again reporting no new new cases today with five new infections in Middlesex-London and one in Windsor-Essex.
