No New COVID-19 Cases Reported In C-K On Wednesday

There are no new cases of COVID-19 being reported once again in Chatham-Kent on Wednesday.
The active case count stands at three, with 366 total cases, 361 recoveries and two deaths.
CK Public Heath says all three active cases were transmitted through close contact.
Ontario’s new infection numbers increased over 300 again on Wednesday with 315 new cases.
Toronto, Ottawa and Peel are reporting more than 60% of today’s new cases.
Locally, Windsor-Essex is reporting 10 new cases today with 5 in Middlesex-London. Lambton Public Health recorded no new infections.
Premier Doug Ford says the province is looking at lowering the limits on social gatherings to get control of the increase in cases.
The Premier says he will be discussing those limits with members of his cabinet as well as local officials. When these potential changes come into effect is not currently being shared.
