Good news on Chatham-Kent’s COVID front with no new infections being reported today. The public health unit has moved six cases to the resolved list, lowering the total active caseload to 32.

Three more COVID patients have been released from hospital, leaving just two CK residents in care at the Health Alliance.

The outbreaks at Fairfield Park and the Medicine Unit at the Chatham hospital are still active, but holding steady.

Lambton County has added 12 new confirmed cases today, bringing the total active caseload to 88.

In Windsor-Essex, nine more deaths have been linked to the virus. The public health unit also reporting another 14 positive tests in the region.

Across Ontario, 44 more people have died from COVID-19. The province is also announcing 1038 new confirmed cases today.
