All eyes were on the sky with a tornado warning issued for the Chatham-Kent area on Sunday afternoon.
However, Environment Canada says while there were several funnel cloud sightings, the warning didn’t amount to anything serious.
“So far, we haven’t had any reports of tornadoes, just funnel clouds and we haven’t had any reports of damage,” said meteorologist Gerald Cheng.
Cheng says this is the season for tornado activity in our area, and local residents should take any warnings seriously.
