Noelle’s Gift Keeps On Giving

Students and families in need will benefit from a big donation from the Noelle’s Gift Foundation.

The Foundation is donating $64,000 to both the St. Clair Catholic and Lambton-Kent District School Boards.

“Once again this year, we are so very grateful to the Noelle’s Gift Foundation for its tremendous support of children in need, not only in our schools, but right across the communities of Sarnia-Lambton and Chatham-Kent,” says Deb Crawford, Director of Education for the St. Clair Catholic District School Board.  “This generous gift each year is a fitting way in which to honour the life and work of Noelle Paquette.”

The money will go toward clothing, food, medicine, and medical equipment for children and families in crisis.

“The Lambton Kent District School Board greatly appreciates the generous support of the Noelle’s Gift Foundation to provide essential items for students and families in need. We are grateful for the ongoing commitment to promoting student success and well-being, as well as encouraging healthy communities,” says Director of Education John Howitt.

The donation is being presented at the Catholic Education Centre in Wallaceburg Tuesday.

The Noelle’s Gift charitable fund was established in memory of Noelle Paquette, a former Kindergarten teacher with St. Clair Catholic, who passed away in January 2013.
