Allegedly slamming a two-by-four piece of wood against a house in Wallaceburg has resulted in charges for a local man.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service said officers were called to an Elgin Street address regarding a noise complaint at around 2:23 a.m. on Tuesday.
An hour later, police were called to the same address again after the accused left his home and allegedly proceeded to bang on the victim’s home using a two-by-four piece of wood while making threatening remarks.
As a result, a 42-year-old Wallaceburg man was arrested and charged with uttering threats and causing mischief. He was taken to police headquarters and held for a bail hearing.
