Nominations have now opened for the annual Rural Urban Awards.
The Chatham-Kent Chamber of Commerce will be handed out in in four categories, Future Leader for those 21 and under; Agriculturalist of the Year, honouring one person from the primary producer or agri-business sector; Agriculture Innovator, for a person or business in rural or urban Chatham-Kent with a link to a farming business or agri-business, and Friend of Agriculture, honouring individuals, organizations, community groups and businesses of Chatham-Kent who have made significant contributions for awareness, innovation and/or sustainability of the agriculture and agri-business.
The deadline for nominations is August 12th. The Annual Rural Urban Awards ceremony will be held at the Chatham-Kent John D. Bradley Convention Centre on Wednesday, November 27th.
