Municipal officials may need two pages for this fall’s election ballot with four new candidates stepping forward yesterday.
Allan Traylor has put his name forward for the mayor’s seat once again – he ran for the same position back in the 2010 election, coming in last with just 170 votes.
Don Fuoco has added his name to the growing list of candidates in Ward 6, John Wright is looking to grab one of two seats in Ward 3, and Anthony Ceccacci is running in Ward 2.
As it stands this morning, there are six people running for mayor and 42 candidates vying for 12 council positions across Chatham-Kent.
The deadline for nominations is 2 o’clock this afternoon.
