Nominees Announced for Wallaceburg’s Business Excellence Awards

The stars will be shining in Wallaceburg next month.

The nominees have been announced for the 28th annual Business Excellence Awards, handed out by the Wallaceburg and District Chamber of Commerce to celebrate creativity, resilience, and innovation.

In all, 13 honours will be handed out in categories including Agriculture, Business of the Year, Chip Gordon Citizen of the Year, and Entrepreneur of the Year.

Several winners have already been unveiled. Life skills trainer Erin Dickinson is taking home the Building Bridges Award for fostering better relationships with local First Nations communities; PuroClean Restoration has been named to the Industrial Achievement Award; Marc Leduc and Rob Lozon from Waste Connections Canada are being honoured with the Community Inclusion Award; and Adam Childs will be given the Wallaceburg BIA Award, recognizing contributions to the vitality of downtown Wallaceburg.

The awards will be handed out at the CBD Club in Wallaceburg on Friday, November 7th.

The evening will feature a catered meal, full awards ceremony, networking opportunities, and a live performance by 89Next.
