Pont, Norma “Maxine” Passed away on Monday October 20, 2014 at Meadowpark Nursing Home, Chatham, age 84. Loving mother of Blaine Pont, Donna (Ted) Pearce, Brian (Mary) Pont, and Leslie Pont. Mother-in-law of Christina Pont. Grandmother to Derek Pearce (Martin Ziebauer), Gordon (Angie) Pearce, Melissa Pearce (Mark Hlady), Lara Snyder (Brian Campbell), Erin Pont and Zachery Pont. Great-Grandmother of Shea, Jewels, Rowan and Reid Pearce; and Alyssa Nicholls. Maxine will be missed by her extended family. Predeceased by her husband Leslie Symes Pont, son Scott Pont, and parents John Stevens and Muriel nee Wills. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday October 23, 2014 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. The funeral service will be held on Friday October 24, 2014 at 11am followed by burial at Maple Leaf Cemetery, Chatham.
