A Wheatley resident is facing charges in connection with a traffic complaint in Leamington.
Provincial Police responded to a section of Talbot Road East just before midnight on Tuesday and suspected the driver may have been drinking.
The 28-year-old was arrested and charged with numerous offences under the Criminal Code, Liquor Licence and Control Act, Cannabis Control Act, Highway Traffic Act, and Controlled Drug and Substances Act, including driving while impaired, possession of cocaine, having care or control of a vehicle with liquor readily available, and driving a vehicle with cannabis readily available.
The accused was issued a 90-day license suspension and seven-day vehicle impoundment, and was released from custody with a court date in July.
