The union representing Ontario’s English Catholic teachers will be back at the bargaining table today.
It was supposed to be a day of rotating strikes, but the job action was postponed on Friday when the provincially-appointed mediator called the union and government back for more negotiations.
Meantime, the province’s French teachers are planning another strike day on Thursday after talks with the province fell apart last week.
The Elementary Teachers Federation of Ontario is expected to unveil its next round of job action later today.
And the OSSTF, representing public high school teachers, is planning more rotating strikes on Friday, although the Lambton-Kent board won’t be affected.
