A Wallaceburg man is facing charges following a theft at a motel in the city of London.
The Ontario Provincial Police said a witness saw a man enter a vehicle, steal multiple items and then enter a room at a motel at 840 Exeter Road.
The witness saw the man return to the vehicle a short time later and flagged down a passing OPP cruiser.
The man was arrested without incident.
As a result, a 40-year-old Wallaceburg man is charged with mischief under $5,000 and engaging in prohibited activity on a property. He has since been released from custody with a future court date.
