A member of the Chatham-Kent Ontario Provincial Police needed quick thinking and quick reflexes to avoid a crash.
Police say the officer was conducting traffic enforcement on Mill St. near Canal St. in Tilbury Thursday while on motorcycle patrol.
A driver nearly crashed into the officer while making a lane change.
Police say the driver, a 42-year-old Kitchener man was on a cell phone at the time.
He’s facing charges.
