It seems a Chatham man wasn’t about to go quietly after stealing a bottle of vodka from the LCBO.
The theft was reported to Chatham-Kent Police yesterday, and officers soon located the suspect.
The 31-year-old man allegedly broke the vodka bottle and threatened police with it. Officers used a taser to bring the accused under control.
He’s now facing charges of theft and assaulting police, and was also charged in connection with a theft from Shoppers Drug Mart earlier in the day.
