
Chatham-Kent has received its third payment of the fiscal year for hosting Cascades Casino.
The municipality recently received $443,141 from the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG). The total payment is based on the amount of gaming revenue generated at Cascades Casino from October 1 to December 31, 2024.
So far, during OLG’s fiscal year, Chatham-Kent has been given $1,324,212 in community host payments. Since April 2001, Chatham-Kent has received $19,123,677, including host fees from both the former Dresden Slots and the current Cascades Casino.
The funds are put toward local infrastructure projects and community programs.
