One arrest had been made following a series of break-ins at Tim Hortons restaurants in Blenheim.

According to Chatham-Kent Police, two suspects forced their way into the Chatham Street South location late Monday night, stealing a significant amount of cash from the register, then returning a short time later and taking the store’s surveillance equipment.

A few hours later, two suspects broke into the Tim Hortons store on Talbot Street West, again stealing a significant amount of money.

A warrant was issued for a King Street South residence in Highgate on Wednesday and officers arrested one suspect.
