One person was taken to hospital following a chain-reaction crash in Chatham this morning. 
Around 8 o’clock emergency crews responded to a single-vehicle crash on the Lacroix Street bridge. The driver, a 53-year-old woman, was hurt.
About 15 minutes later, police say a 34-year-old woman was trying to avoid the first crash, lost control and struck another vehicle.
No injuries were reported in the secondary collision.
Total damage is pegged at $5000.
