CK Public Health is reporting one new case of COVID-19 on Tuesday. Three Chatham-Kent residents remain in hospital with the virus.
The local active case count is now at 27. Ten of those active cases are listed as close contact transmissions, while 16 are linked to the outbreak at a Blenheim place of worship. One active case is currently listed as “pending” on Public Health’s website.
On Monday, the municipality recorded 12 new cases. Public Health and the Lambton-Kent District School Board also dismissed 15 students at Chatham-Kent Secondary School in Chatham due to potential exposure of a probable case of the coronavirus.
Chatham-Kent has now had 401 total cases during the pandemic with 371 recoveries and three deaths.
Ontario confirmed 827 new cases across the province today.
The Lambton Public Health unit reported no new cases on Tuesday. Windsor-Essex added 16 new infections with seven in Middlesex-London.
