One New COVID-19 Case In Chatham-Kent On Tuesday

CK Public Health is confirming one new case of the coronavirus in Tuesday’s report.
The new infection brings the active case count to four with 369 total cases.
There are no COVID-positive patients in hospital at the CKHA and no current outbreaks in long-term care, local workplaces or schools.
Lambton Public Health is reporting no new cases today, with four in Windsor-Essex and two in Middlesex-London.
Ontario’s total dropped off significantly to 554 new infections. Monday’s total was a single-day record of 700 new cases. That still makes it the second highest tally since late April.
251 of the cases are in Toronto, 106 are in Ottawa, and 79 are in in Peel Region.
There have been a total of 2,844 deaths in Ontario, accounting for 5.6% of the total 51,085 confirmed cases across the province. 5,125 COVID patients have been hospitalized (10% of all cases) in Ontario and 1,086 patients have been admitted to the ICU – 2.1% of all provincial cases.
