A Chatham man wanted in connection with a stabbing over the weekend has turned himself in, while another suspect remains at large.

The Chatham-Kent Police Service said 19-year-old Kayden Alward was arrested at police headquarters Wednesday morning.

Authorities had previously issued a call for Alward’s arrest on a charge of aggravated assault after a man was found with a “serious puncture wound” on Saturday shortly after midnight on King Street East in Chatham.

The victim was rushed to the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance for treatment and is now recovering at home.

Another 20-year-old man from Wallaceburg was also arrested earlier this week and charged with aggravated assault in connection to the incident.

A third suspect, 21-year-old Kodin Young of Chatham, has not yet been located and he remains on the Chatham-Kent Police Service Most Wanted List.

Authorities said Young is considered dangerous and should not be approached. Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts is asked to immediately contact police by calling 911 or 519-352-1234. Those who wish to remain anonymous can contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
