Police are advising the public of an increased officer presence in Chatham.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service announced on Wednesday at around 11:30 a.m. that officers are conducting an investigation in an area of Alexandra Avenue.
No further details about the investigation have been released, however, police officials said there is no threat to public safety.
Residents are asked to avoid the area.
