Monday is the day the municipal election will really kick into high gear.

Online voting in Chatham-Kent begins October 1st at 10 am, and runs through October 15th at 10 pm.

You will need your voter ID and an email address to cast your ballot online.

You will find your voter ID on your voter card, and if you did not receive one you can go into any municipal office and get added to the list.

In 2014 nearly 33,000 votes were cast and almost a third of the votes cast were done online.

They expect that number to go way up this year.

If you still prefer the paper ballot there will be advance polls October 11th, 12th, and 13th.

Election day is October 22nd.
