Twenty outstanding young people across the province are being recognized for making a difference in their communities.
The Ontario Medal for Young Volunteers, the province’s highest honour for youth service, is given to exceptional individuals aged 15 to 24. This year’s recipients include community organizers, those passionate about francophone and civic engagement, environmental stewards, and mental health advocates.
Ontario’s Lieutenant Governor will present the medals to both the 2024 and 2025 recipients during a special ceremony at Queen’s Park on October 19th.
