Ontario COC Looks At The Pandemic Food Supply

The Ontario Chamber of Commerce, with assistance from the local chamber,  has issued a report looking at the effect the pandemic put on the stability of out food supply chain.

It’s called Growing A More Resilient Food Supply Chain in Ontario.

It looks back at the effects we have experienced over the past 12 months.

The report points to issues like red tape and labor shortages.

Among the recommendations, a bigger shift to on online shopping opportunities, increase the payment cap, and support the next generation of farmers by attracting youth to the industry.
