After a morning of intermittent issues, police say Ontario’s 911 system appears to have stabilized, for the most part.
Issues were first discovered around 4 o’clock this morning, prompting provincial and local police to urge residents to call non-emergency numbers instead of 911.
However, authorities say Communications Centres across the province are once again receiving and processing 9-1-1 calls.
In the event of further disruptions, you can find non-emergency numbers for Chatham-Kent police, fire, ems, and the OPP on our website at ckxsfm.com.
To reach the OPP, call 1-888-310-1122.
