With just over one month until kids head back to school, a local organization is ramping up efforts to ensure every student has the tools they need to succeed.
FreeHelpCK is now collecting donations for Operation Backpack, providing school supplies to families in need.
Since FreeHelpCK took over the program, more than 8000 backpacks filled with essential school supplies have been handed out, helping ensure that children and youth have what they need to learn, grow, and succeed.
Over half a dozen drop-off locations have been set up throughout the month of August, starting at CKXS Studios on James Street in Wallaceburg on Wednesday, August 5 from 9-11am.
