OPP Arrest Alleged Impaired Driver On Hwy. 401

A traffic complaint on Highway 401 in Chatham-Kent has led to charges for a North York woman.

The Ontario Provincial Police said officers responded to the complaint on Monday at around 10:45 p.m. A suspect vehicle was located, and the driver was arrested following an investigation.

As a result, a 38-year-old North York woman is now charged with driving with a blood alcohol level over the legal limit, driving with an open liquor container, and possessing more than one licence.

The woman was also issued a 90-day driver’s licence suspension, and her vehicle will be impounded for seven days.
