Chatham-Kent OPP are investigating a five vehicle pile-up that happened on the 401 near Merlin Road yesterday evening.
Slow moving traffic in a construction zone caused an eastbound tractor trailer to stop suddenly, causing another tractor trailer to crash into it. Three others were involved in the crash – and all five were towed away.
Three of the drivers were taken to hospital with minor injuries.
