OPP Looking for Help with 1974 Caughlin Case

From Lambton OPP’s YouTube video

Lambton County OPP is offering a $50,000 reward for anyone with information about the death of Karen Caughlin outside Sarnia in 1974.

The case remains an active investigation. Recently, Lambton OPP say her death may not have been deliberate, but the result of a collision with a motor vehicle.

The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) believes that Karen may not have been deliberately killed, but that her injuries are consistent with being the victim of a tragic collision with a motor vehicle. Karen was then moved from the location where she sustained fatal injuries to where her body was ultimately discovered (Lambton County OPP media release, March 15, 2018).

Police say they have continued to receive information about the case over the last 3 years.

They’ve released a case chronology video on their YouTube channel to help jog the memory of anyone who may have been in the area at the time of her death.
