The Ontario Provincial Police is looking for those considering a career in policing.

The OPP Cadet Program is looking across the province to hire applicants between the ages of 18-25 years.

Successful candidates will work as a cadet to assist frontline officers with administrative duties and engage with their communities by supporting crime prevention and public safety initiatives.

The positions are one-year full-time or part-time contracts with the possibility of an extension for an additional year. Cadets also undergo a two-week paid training course.

No previous experience in law or security is required.
