The long arm of the law caught up with a man first arrested over a year ago.

In June, 2022, the accused was charged with two counts of assault, one count of theft and three counts of indecent acts, and was released with a future court date.

However, the suspect failed to appear when the date came, and a warrant was issued for his arrest.

Several months later, the same man was accused of threatening to kill his neighbour and had more charges added to the list. He was once again released with a future court date, and again failed to show up in court.

Yesterday, the 45-year-old Wallaceburg man was arrested and taken to police headquarters and held for a bail hearing.
