Paddlers of all stripes hit the water of Rondeau Bay this past weekend, raising money and supplies for area food banks. 
Organizers say close to 40 people took part in the inaugural Paddle for Hunger.
In all, over $4000 was raised with money and canned goods going to support the Salvation Army food bans, Word of Life soup kitchen in Blenheim, and a Cuba outreach mission.
