Pain Court Fire Damaged Pegged at $1-Million

Fire officials have closed the book on a massive house fire in Pain Court that caused $1,000,000 in damage.

Crews from four stations battled the flames on Pain Court Line east of Winterline Road
Wednesday afternoon, eventually having to take a defensive stance to protect neighbouring properties and a detached workshop.

Officials say the fire, which is believed to have started in the crawlspace, is not under investigation.

No injuries have been reported.

The Ontario Fire Marshall has been notified, but will not be attending the scene.
