A Pain Court man has been arrested after allegedly falsifying employment records.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service said an investigation began back in October 2019 after receiving information about the fraudulent activity.
Through the investigation, officers formed grounds to arrest the accused, however, after several unsuccessful attempts to locate the man, a warrant was issued for his arrest.
Authorities said the man was located and arrested by provincial police in Leamington on Wednesday.
The 27-year-old accused is now charged with fraud under $5,000 and five counts of falsifying employee records. He has since been released with conditions and an April court date.
