UCC will host the annual Dr.Jack Parry Awards tonight.

There’s seating for 500 in the UCC theatre and the event gets underway at 7pm.
UCC teacher Jeff Denomy says the awards go out to the best all-around student-athlete.
“They get a $1,000 from the Parry family each,” says Denomy. “We look a these kids and they’re great athletes, but there may be better athletes in their schools. But when you add the 90% and the community service, it just blows you away.”
One male and one female athlete will be chosen. Each of the 10 high schools in Chatham-Kent have submitted nominations.
