The head of the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance has mixed reviews of a provincial investigation into the hospital’s operations.
CEO Colin Patey says while he welcomes the investigator’s report, the review process covered a very small window of time.
“I’m disappointed but not surprised that in the report there are inaccuracies and other information that doesn’t accurately describe the culture and character of the CKHA.”
The PGH, St Joseph’s, and Sydenham boards have been given 14 days to draft a response to the report, which Patey says will give officials a chance to clear up some issues that he says do not accurately reflect the character of the organization.
