Pedestrian Deemed At Fault After Being Struck By Pickup

No charges have been laid after a pedestrian was struck in Chatham.

According to Chatham-Kent Police, a woman ran across Sandys Street in Chatham on Saturday and was hit by a pickup truck

Authorities say the 40-year-old was taken to the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance with non-life threatening injuries.

Police say the pedestrian was found to be at fault for crossing improperly, and the investigation has been closed.
