A Chatham woman remains in hospital after being struck by a car.
Emergency crews responded to Park Avenue East near St George Street around 3 o’clock Thursday afternoon.
Investigators say a 47-year-old Chatham woman was heading westbound on Park when she struck a 25-year-old woman trying to cross at the crosswalk.
The victim suffered serious injuries and was taken to hospital in Chatham before being transferred to Windsor for further treatment.
The traffic unit has now taken over the investigation and is looking to speak with any witnesses.
