A Thamesville man is fighting for his life in hospital following a crash near Bothwell.
Chatham-Kent Police say a 49-year-old man was walking on Longwoods Road between Littlejohn Road and Zone Road 7 shortly before 11 o’clock Thursday night when he was struck by a westbound vehicle.
The victim was taken to hospital in Newbury before being airlifted to London with life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the vehicle, a 49-year-old Thamesville woman, was not hurt.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service Traffic Management Unit has taken over the investigation, which remains ongoing.
