A marsh fire at Point Pelee National Park has been doused.
Leamington fire officials say fire fighters and park staff were given a helping hand by this morning’s rain.
In all, about 125 hectares of marsh was lost in the blaze.
Emergency crews first responded to the park around 8 last night, with Parks Canada forest fire crews arriving early this morning.
