A warning to parents about monitoring their kids’ online activity.
Chatham-Kent Police say a 17-year-old is facing charges after allegedly texting a 16-year-old girl and offering to pay her for explicit photos of her boyfriend.
Authorities say the suspect was under a court order banning him from using the internet on any device, but also sent Snapchat messages directly to the girl’s boyfriend asking him to perform sexual acts.
Charges include communicating for the purposes of obtaining sexual services and two counts of failing to comply with his Probation Order.
